The underlying thesis is that good stewardship is based on faith, love and trust in God rather than on money. It is easy reading, although convicting, in that Dr. McCalep continuously reminds the reader that the Bible states that "it is impossible to please God without faith" (Heb. 11:6) and tithing is a matter of faith, not a matter of money. - DR.
